Generally it’s a good idea to tell the truth with a beginning, middle and end.
There are no rules in StoryTalks other than we encourage everyone to be yourself and honor the art and craft of storytelling.
Begin your story in the action. stay focused on the end goal. What you learned, gleaned, gained from the experience?
Notes? Reading from a book? Yes, you can bring notes onstage if that is what makes you more comfortable. Each night typically has a theme and you get extra points by having your story follow our theme. The main thing we want is for everyone to enjoy themselves and utilize the opportunities related to storytelling to promote your book, projects and or self.
